Karissa Hambilton - 2011 Karissa Hambilton, pianist / singer / songwriter has been performing since the age of 7 and was born and raised in Country Australia. She has been song writing since the age of 15 and after recording at 'Damien Gerard Sound St...udios' in Sydney in 2009, a two track single was released on Itunes - 'Forever' and 'Obsession' The two songs were based on the novel New Moon, after Karissa fell in love with the series, and they were submitted to Summit Entertainment for potential New Moon soundtrack inclusion on the film. Karissa has also finished in the top 35 in 'Durango International Song Contest 2010'. and two more songs 'Danger Magnet' and Forbidden Desires' also recorded at Damien Gerards and based on the Eclipse Novel were chosen in the rock/indie & ballad category in the ASA competition. Since last August Karissa has been quite busy with live gigs Starting with acoustic shows of simply vocals and piano Karissa now has a band project running as well 'Burger on a Bike' which has started making waves at band competitons already. Since Feb 2011- http://www.baconrock.com/ have been playing Karissa’s music and with their reach of over 2 Million she has had some excellent responses. Her second Itunes Release – ‘Save You/Baby Don’t’ goes live on July 1 and in her own words “I feel that finally my passion for music is reflected in my songs - . after all it would be a dark lonely world without music! :)”
