One of the things I love most are those instances of stumbling across the occasional CD by an unfamiliar band and discovering some amazing music contained within. It just makes things even cooler when that band happens to be from right here in the region. That very thing happened just last week. The CD that did the trick this time was a 14-song collection titled, "X-Posure," by the Northwest Indiana group Kamera. The Kamera sound is best described as being classic arena rock. Fans of such keyboard-guitar-driven bands will love Kamera's CD, which is largely powered by the nimble digits of guitarist-keyboardist Vince Michaels. The lead vocals of Greg Flores are rich, vibrant and wide ranged, like the best album rock singers of that genre's glory days. - Tom Lounges, The Times

KAMERA... for those that speak English it's pronounced camera.
Originality has always been the main goal to KAMERA. Their music has been categorized as everything from melodic rock, to prog-rock (progressive), to AOR (album oriented rock) to arena-rock and even classic rock. No matter what label you put on it, the Kamera sound is unique.
Founding members Vince Michaels (guitars and vocals) and Greg Flores (lead vocals), have been part of the Chicago music scene for several years. KAMERA has played across the Midwest, from the clubs and festivals of the Chicago area to the stages of Milwaukee's Summer Fest as well as sharing the stage with popular touring acts such as Kansas, Night Ranger, Great White, and Loverboy.
Over the past few years, KAMERA has captured a huge European audience and has released two single’s in Germany. “Chasing Shadows” in 2002, and “When We Said Hello” in 2003.
KAMERA has empowered the bands song writing ability to a new level with the 2005 release of their first full length album, "X-POSURE." The music is powerful and unique, yet with a familiar sound. You’ll hear rock influences that span across two decades woven together to become a new sum, greater than its parts.
