Emerging emcee Jus’.1 shares his childhood stories and struggles on his song “Calabasas” which is taken from his new album Jeremiah 29:11. The piano-laden track is somber and reflective which ties into the rapper’s vivid tale of growing up poor and seeing how things change when he made a name for himself. He looks at the situation through different viewpoints giving a balanced view for listeners to really understand. - The Word is Bond -Tayo Odutola

Bio
Growing up in poverty Jus.1 explains what it was like growing up with nothing in a single parent household. Struggling to find his next meal with a parent working multiple jobs just to get by, Jus'.1 found basketball and music to change his life. Music was his way to express his feeling, Using his words to show his audience that he can relate with each and every one of them. He's not ashamed to let them know he is a "product of section 8" and worked his way to where he is at now.
