Julia Kay

Julia Kay is a singer/songwriter from Chicago. Julia's unique style of blending heartfelt songs with modern country/Rock  production allows her to touch her fans with meaningful songs about the power of hope and love. Julia is influenced by artists like Miranda Lambert, Casey Musgraves, Cheryl Crow, Patsey Cline, Christina Aguilera, and Carrie Underwood.  Like other incredible talents, this young woman has the ability to make you truly feel the power and the message of the music that she delivers! 

Julia Kay has  performed at numerous festivals, two of them being The Temecula California Film and Music Fest and Traverse City Michigan Film and Music Fest.

I have training in acting that includes TVI Studios, The Green Room, Actor's Key, Talent House, Hollywood Acting, and Barbizon Modeling and Acting School.

Theatre performances include The Rainbow Connection, The King and I, Treasure Island, The Frog Prince, Pinocchio, The Jungle Book, and The Pied Piper.

I have also been in numerous televised performances including Nashville Spotlight, Seven On Ridge with Michael Essany, Today's Talent Network, and American Kids Nationals.

I have had the privilege of being vocally trained under Your True Voice with Randy Buesher, Singing with Joy, Richard Fink, and Brett Manning Singing Success!

I also have some pretty cool accomplishments that I am very thankful for! I sang for Buzz Aldrin at the NASA Convention Dinner, modeled for Chico's, and have call backs for VH1 The Making of a Pop Star, The Voice, and X Factor, American Idol,  I also was in the top 5 for the International Song Writing Contest to win a scholarship to Berkley University in Boston!

Yes, I have done both modeling and acting but my heart is always in the melody of a song!

I am just a girl who wants to make a positive and powerful difference in the world through music. Thats not to big of a dream right?
