Joining forces with famed writers and hit-making producers such as Oliver Leiber (Coors, Rod Stewart, BB Mak), Anders Bagge (Janet Jackson, Enrique Iglesias), Diane Warren (Aerosmith, Whitney Houston, Mary J. Blige), and the world renowned Max Martin (Daughtry, Pink, Bon Jovi), Reid delivers a captivating expression of powerhouse vocals and infectious lyrical content reflecting his confident, but shadowy mystique. All the while defying genres, and solidifying himself as a bona fide songwriter, musician, and recording artist.
The 22 year old Detroit native began paying his dues since his youth by writing, recording and performing regularly, “growing up in a musically influenced family, there was no doubt as to what I needed – not wanted – but needed to do” says Reid, “I was always very influenced by innovators and true entertainers, like David Bowie and Freddie Mercury, all artists who could grasp their audiences attention and hold it in the palm of their hands with ease – I wanted to get on that level.”
Reid’s willful determination, not to mention his vocal talent and charisma, have led to an astonishing journey for the Motown native. A seasoned veteran to the music scene, Reid has showcased his adrenalized vocals to crowds across North America and Europe, performing alongside a notable roster of chart-topping recording artists including; Ashlee Simpson, Kelly Clarkson, Fefe Dobson, and the New Kids on the Block.
With his appeal growing by leaps and bounds, Reid has made his mark in the midst of various corporate endorsements, collaborating with companies including Caffeine Culture, Harmon Kardon, Baldwin-Gibson, and most recently the 2010 Ad Campaign for the Dodge Charger. Additionally, Reid has expanded his professional horizons by landing roles in a range of feature film and television projects such as the CW network series "The Beautiful Life", and upcoming feature film, "Going the Distance", with Drew Barrymore.
