Joshua Paige is a country singer and songwriter from Northern California. Although he is now pursuing his Country Music career in Los Angeles, he accomplished a lot prior to LA and has deep rooted country values that led him to pursue his path in music.
Joshua says that he looks up to artists like Buck Owens and Dwight Yoakam, “those are the true pioneers of California country music.” It’s his experience on the West Coast that really helps to set Joshua apart from all the artists in Nashville. There’s a whole thriving country music scene in California and with that comes a set of musicians that provide a different lyrical content and sound to the songs they write. That’s not to say that he is turned off to Nashville; on the contrary, Joshua explains that he travels there as often as he can & has written with Nashville songwriters like Michael Anderson. “His guidance really helped shape my writing” Joshua says of Anderson, who wrote “Maybe it was Memphis” for Pam Tillis.
Joshua aims to please; he points out that fans are an important part of any musician’s career, especially his own. “If it weren’t for my fans, I would still be playing guitar in my room. I never lose sight of that…” he says adding that he enjoys hanging out after his shows to meet the crowd and hang out with fans. It’s times like those, hanging out with new people, that he says inspire much of his music. Joshua is really looking forward to coming back up to NorCal for his upcoming shows, “There’s nowhere else I’d rather perform right now. Northern California is where my roots were established.”

Bio
Joshua Paige is a Country Singer/Songwriter from Napa California. Growing up on the family ranch in a home that was grounded on southern values, he often felt out of place being in an urban setting. While his peers made fun of him for being different, he found peace of mind venting about those differences in his music. Before he was 17, he landed appearances on several national television shows and singing for Nascar, quickly made him a hometown star. Performing more that 200 shows before transplanting to Los Angeles, his humorous songs about life and his high energy performances became a hit with County Fairs and Festivals. Recently, Paige wrote a song called “Country Boy” which described his experience being a country boy in a big city. The song caught the attention of producer Chris Bell (who has worked with artists such as Prince and Nickelback) and the two started working together. Joshua's EP “Love and Loss Part 1” is quickly climbing up the itunes charts!
Paige is currently traveling around the West Coast with his band playing at fairs, festivals, and colleges. Throughout 2013 keep watch around the country as Joshua conquers touring throughout the US!
