Co wrote "You Dance" by Eastmountainsouth which reached #1 on the "Non-Com" AAA charts."You Dance" was also recently featured in trailer for the movie "North Country" starring Charlize Theron. Joshua's songs have been heard on the WB's "One tree hill",Fox and STARZ Network promotionals, and MTV's Real World Philly and Road Rules in 2004.

Joshua Meltzer is a genre bending singer-songwriter,producer and multi instrumentalist living in Northampton, MA.
In 2003 He had two songs on Eastmountainsouth's Dreamworks debut including"You Dance" which reached # 1 on the Triple A charts. He was nominated for Best Singer-Songwriter in the L.A. Music Awards in 2004.In 2004 he also won the Grand Prize in the John Lennon Songwriters Contest in the World Music Category as well as 2nd Place in the International Songwriting Competition in the Singer-Songwriter Category. In 2004, 2005 and 2006 he won the ASCAP Plus Advantage Award. ASCAP also chose Joshua for the Lester Sill Songwriters Workshop in 2005.He released his E.P. Digitaldirt in 2005 as well. He has had songs placed on the WB's "One Tree Hill, HBO, STARZ Network, and MTV's Real World and Road Rules. In 2007, Lowen and Navarro recently featured his song "Fall" on their Hogging The Covers record.
In 2008 he was presented with the ASCAP Robert Allen Award at Lincoln Center.Recently he was featured on Filter Magazine's Landmark CD compilation along with Radiohead, Jakob Dylan, Nikka Costa and more.
Most recently Joshua has been chosen for the Grow Music Project started by Composer Christopher Tyng (Futurama, The O.C., Suits, Rescue Me,) .
