Bio
Jo is an aspiring singer/songwriter from Southern California. He has 13 years of experience playing drums, bass, guitar and vocals. Jo began performing at the age of 15 in his home church worship band as well as local concerts.
Jo attended the Fender Music School where he perfected his music reading and theory skills. In 2008, Jo began attending Musician's Institute in Hollywood. While there, he continued to build upon his music skills in guitar, songwriting and performing. He attended several clinics hosted by some of the industry's top musicians.
Jo has been influenced by great musicians such as The Beatles, BB King, Jimi Hendrix, John Mayer, Derek Trucks, Jonny Lang and Ritchie Kotzen.
Jo plays many different genres of music, but his passion lies in blues/rock/soul.
Jo has performed at several music festivals as well Hollywood clubs, such as Whiskey Ago Go and Knitting Factory.
