Bio
Some artists have dreams of performing in stadiums filled with thousands of fans, but most artists aren't John Snow. Formed at a Prague McDonalds in the summer of 2008 but hailing from Norway, at first the group's main goal was performing live in their hometown. As the band continued to write and practice, their goals went from being locally recognized to signing a management deal and recording a self-titled EP. The EP project was overseen by Tre Sheppard, who has written with Tommy Sims (Bruce Springsteen), Graham Kendrick, Kathryn Scott and Nathan Dantzler and is well known in the UK for his unique blend of faith, hope and rock & roll. "The journey to finding the right songs for the EP seemed to be one that was a little longer and more difficult for some reason," explains drummer Christer Gundersen. We wanted to make an important debut EP, Petter Tørdal emphasizes. "You get the sense that maybe something really big is going to happen soon, that maybe the way we enjoy things isn't always going to be that way. We had that in mind as we wrote songs such as 'Good Enough For Me' and 'Supersonic'; we want to write songs that are up to date, no matter how things are going." As A-ha, perhaps Norway's finest musical export, calls it a day, new blood is emerging and can be heard in the single "Supersonic."
