“We’re like spontaneous combustion,” warns Johnny “Allenz” Edwards the Bands lead singer and guitarist of the Electric Blue Flames. That’s exactly what this band did in front of at least 4,000 fans at the Onset Bay Blues Festival last summer, when the flames added fire to the act. Covering the Jimi Hendrix classic “Foxey Lady” Edwards smashed his guitar on the cement stage, doused it with lighter fluid and set it on fire, then urged the flames to go higher ala Hendrix.
