Joeymakes is a soulful "Rapsinger" from the heart of the midwest in Middletown, Ohio. Joey began writing music in 2005 when he was in high school, but stopped when he began College. After dropping out of college to run his own Clothing boutique, Joey began making music again.  Being Skilled in lyricism and singing it makes Joeymakes have an edge on most artists. When you have a conglomerate of rock, jazz, gospel, hip hop, and rythm and blues you get Joeymakes. Taking Pride in being from ohio, JoeyMakes uses mixture of styles from the greats which include: zapp and rodger, the ohio players, and even the isley brothers, to tell stories that take you into the world of a creative misfit from the struggle.

In 2013, Joeymakes Ran his First Brick and Mortar Store Selling his own brand of clothing out of his hometown Middletown, Ohio. Working From sun up until sun down creating, designing, and egineering all the clothing in house, Local Producers would bring instrumentals for Joeymakes to listent to while working. Joey would take breaks to sing melodies, and write lyrics to these instrumentals. Using clothing as compensation for studio time, It wasn't long after that Joey was in the studio recording just as much as he was in his store. Music then became a passion and an outlet for creativity and Joey Strived to get better before releasing any content to the public.      

Currently Joey is working on his first Ep "Make it until you Make it," which is set to be released October 9th.  Along with Joeymakes Making music, He Also is the Chief Excutive of a Brand that has been around since 2011. Joey thrives on the challenges of being creative, that is why he is going to be a force to be reckoned with in the music industry. "Make it Until You Make it" In other words, If you want to make it, keep making whatever it is you make until you reach your heaven.
