The Band In My Head

When the bottom dropped out of the construction industry in 2010, Jimmy stopped swinging his hammer and started strumming his guitar. In three months he nailed down eight new songs and recorded his own 15 song CD, “Color of Blue”. This homemade production was a creation from the heart of a singer/songwriter. No animals or spirits were harmed nor were any personal philosophies violated. That’s all well and good but doesn’t pay the rent!
So in 2011 Jimmy decided to have a Nashville studio produce high quality, radio ready master recordings of his songs. All of the male vocals were performed by Michael Lusk who is the main back-up singer for Loretta Lynn. Danny Parks (AAA studio guitarist) plays guitar, Gary Carter (Marty Stuart’s guy) plays steel guitar, and Jim Hoke contributes some exceptional harmonica play. The top notch arrangement was done by the studio lead, Stacy Hogan, along with some limited direction by Jimmy himself.
Jimmy is working hard to get his music recognized and picked-up by industry execs and performing artists. Until then I’m sure he will pull out his hammer and knock down some more great tunes.
