Off of JimmySoDope's new album, 'The Art of Breaking Hearts'. "DUI" stars Jae Tori in a song about recovering from a broken heart and looking to get out and have some fun for the night. It's definitely one of those songs you can ride around with a open bottle too, preferred dark liquor. Featured artist JimmySoDope co-stars as the troublesome male looking to regain his baby back with slick lines and memory lane metaphors. The song is catchy, mild-tempoed, and addicting. A great jumpstart point for newfound fans looking to get familiar with a talented new artist. - Bryson Paul
After an extensive leave of absence from the music scene, rapper JimmySoDope returns with new original music. Citing being “uninspired” as the reason for his musical disappearance, the New Jersey native is back and in full effect with the launch of #TheNumberBlocks campaign.
On his first official release of year, “B.A.G.” (Blessings and Goals) featuring fellow Garden State emcee Chase Fetti produced by DJ CalZz, Jimmy lays it all on the line letting the public know he is more focus now more than ever.
When asked about what fans should expect to come and the inspiration behind the campaign Jimmy responded, “I reached a point in my career where I looked around and I was the ONLY person doing it for the love. As if I don’t have a whole daughter that depends on me for food and shelter,” adding, “everybody except for myself made money off of my ideas. After that I developed a chip on my shoulder. A new vision, attitude & sound had emerged. #TheNumberBlocks was here!” -

Bio
James Frazier, better known by his stage name "Jimmy So Dope," emerged from the Newark, New Jersey hip-hop scene as a dynamic force, leaving an indelible mark on the industry. Born on a humid December day in 1986, Jimmy's journey is a symphony of life experiences, creative exploration, and an unwavering commitment to authenticity.
A Huge fan of music and I listened to every kind of music. Hiphop to Jazz. 70s soul to disco, Theres this time I couldnt find what I wanna hear. I wanna hear this sound and this type of music but no one is making it. That makes me motivate to make my own music and write my own songs. My inspiration is the people I grew up with. My siblings and my friends. They have this talent but they keep on relying with each others time. When one of them stop everybody stop. Thats when I decided to start and be independent with my passion.
I choose HipHop because Hiphop is my culture. I live HipHop. It’s the medium which allows me to reach the people want and NEED the type of art that I create.
