We’ve not heard Jill in person but we like the tone of her voice. We’re adding this Australian performer to our “5 Bands We’re Excited To See” list. If it’s Alternative Country Pop you’re looking for, Jill is the lady for the job.
She’s been all over the award nominations at home and she’s clearly putting in the hard work. I’m giving her a chance this week at CMW.

“Top 5 female acts we’re excited to see at Canadian Music Week 2015” - The Reviews Are In (Toronto, Ontario)
American Songwriting Award Nominee Jill Beth, seamlessly blends the heartache of country, the warmth and positivity of folk all delivered with the addictive melodies of pop. 2015 was a standout year for the Australian singer songwriter, which saw her showcase at Canadian Music Week in Toronto and BIGSOUND in Brisbane along with securing a support slot for American Troubadour Joshua Radin on his Australian Tour. In 2016 Jill Beth will focus her time playing shows and releasing her second single prior to heading to Nashville to write for her full length album. In 2014 Jill released her debut EP ‘Don’t Let Go’ recorded by Aria nominated producer Anthony Lycenko (Pete Murray, Busby Marou). On the back of its success Jill embarked on an Australian east coast tour including multiple shows in Sydney, Melbourne, Byron Bay, and a sold out CD launch in her hometown of Brisbane. Another performance highlight of 2014 was at Gympie Music Muster. Her first single ‘Let You In’ a fitting debut for this emerging singer songwriter, has been warmly received with significant airplay on ABC Radio Network, Women Of Substance digital radio (USA) and community stations nationally.
