Jen Norman

With guitar in hand, Jennifer Norman paints the soundtrack of her life with music notes. Her lyrics have common threads that apply to anyone, whether they are dealing with good times or bad. Jennifer's folk rock / country pop style, often compared to Lucinda Williams & Kasey Chambers, has continued to evolve since she first stepped on stage in 2001.

In 2003, Jennifer Norman released "Leavin' On The Next Thing Smokin'," recorded at Chelsea Studio in Nashville, TN, with executive producer Robert Metzgar ( Kenny Rogers, Diana Ross, Lionel Richie, Billy Joel, Sawyer Brown, Johnny Paycheck). "Learning As I Go," released in 2011, recorded at slo*burn productions in Vandalia, IL, marks Jennifer's debut into songwriting as the sole writer.

Jennifer has performed throughout the midwest, St. Louis, Chicago, Nashville, Milwaukee, and Colorado. She spent some time performing in a duo with Kimi Hayes (Kimi Hayes Band, Generation, Catfight, The Play Doctors, Fabulous Janes, World Stage), and now can be seen solo or performing with Kelle Green (One Way Ticket). She has opened for Shaggy, and shared the local stage with Summer Osborne and KGB.
