Jeff Gorra

Jeff Gorra began his obsession with music and the ripe age of two years old. Instead of lego's and heman toys, Jeff opted for a record player, Beatles and Stevie Wonder records and plastic instruments growing up. Fast forward a few years and those plastic instruments now turned into Telecasters. Upon teaching himself to play the guitar Jeff immediately began to write songs. About two years into first learning to play, Jeff performed his first gig as a solo act at a college bar in Boston, MA. Fast forward another year and Jeff then had his first recording, a 4 song solo EP.
In 2004, Jeff formed the New York City band Breakerfall, playing gigs in New York's biggest venue's for about 5 years. Upon separating Jeff began to focus on writing and recording a full length solo record where every part of every track was written by Jeff. In early 2010 Jeff hooked up with master-mind producer Craig Levy from Little Pioneer Studios in Brooklyn, NY. After months of being on lockdown in the studio the record was complete. "The Reins" was officially released in early June 2010 at a sold out CD release show at New York City's landmark venue...Arlene's Grocery. The record is very diverse with rock songs, ballads, adult contemporary tracks and even a campfire grove. The opening track....Underneath Your Waves has been in rotation and featured on Pipeline Radio/UK Rocks.
