Bio
I started writing songs in high school. I gave it up. I had more "important" things to do: College (Harvard), career (Microsoft), raising a family...
Then, one day in 2008, I got a nasty wake-up call: a splitting headache, a sense of disorientation. Doctors found a brain tumor about the size of a tangerine... an EVIL tangerine.
Thank goodness for good luck and great doctors, right? This "mortality moment" was a strange kind of gift. What are we here for? What's really important? You can hear more about this story and what I took from it at http://bit.ly/SurviveBrain.
I threw myself into philanthropic work through Full Circle Fund. Songwriting was, for me, the dream not yet pursued. I began making time for it in 2009, and in 2010 I performed my song "Good for Nothing" on stage with the English Beat. In 2012 "I'm On My Way To You" placed as a finalist in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest. In 2013 "Together Do More" was selected as a featured song for the West Coast Songwriters showcase.
I'm a songwriter. My aspiration is to place my songs with artists that can give them a life of their own.
