Jordan Michael Johnson, (Sept. 2, 1992) better known as Jay Fresh, is a hip-hop artist coming out of the indie music scene in Dallas. His compositions are mixtures of electronic beats with hip-hop overtones and while his style has been described by some as “eclectic modern hip-hop,” his appeal is increasingly defined by a more thoughtful focus on the lyrical.
In the past year, he has become a notable fixture among the Dallas live music scene - opening for artists such as: LMFAO, Paper Diamond, SuperVision, Wale, The Cool Kids, Mac Miller, Yelawolf, Big Krit and Trae The Truth among others.
Formerly a sponsored skateboarder standout, Jay Fresh has morphed into a genre-merging musician whose work can be described as a venturous underground lyricist with an appetite for electronic music.
Currently in the studio engaging in a production deal with Pretty Lights Music artist SuperVision, Jay Fresh readies to release “The Delta Project – Jay Fresh vs Pretty Lights”.
