"Brooklyn’s Underground King On The Come Up"

Who is Jay Alien? A passionate artist, rapper, immigrant, a dedicated father, and much more. Hailing from the South American country of Guyana, Jay Alien moved to Brooklyn, NY at age 15 and began his music career only a year after that when Tupac was murdered. There aren’t too many artists in the game like Jay, his distinct accent and sound make him stand out from the crowd in a pretty unique way. One of the biggest inspirations behind his music comes from life experiences, his genuine love for the art of hip hop and his 6 year old son. This in particular sets him apart; there are plenty of artists around the world who enjoy making music, but Jay makes music for much more than simple enjoyment. - Jackson White

Bio

As of right now, I'm a nobody. I'm just another up and coming artist trying to get the ears, attention and hearts of music lovers everywhere.

As a child, I grew up in the South American country of Guyana, and every since then I've been in love with music in general. Tupac was always my favorite rapper/ artist. I remember when I was like 13 listening to "Changes" for the first time, and it brought tears to my eyes because I really felt like hip hop had lost its most priced position. I also enjoy Phil Collins, Sade, Paramore, Jay Z, Kanye, Rihanna and music of all genres.

After migrating to the US, I called Brooklyn New York home, and I also attended Brooklyn College. Motivated by my 6 year old son, and my genuine love for the art form that is hip hop I began to write, then shortly after record in a basement studio my close friend and I built in the Canarsie section of Brooklyn .

In 2008 I signed and release my first studio album "Jay A Presents the Aliens" with Indy record label Tate Music Group. I was also featured on legendary hip hopper MC Lyte's Brooklyn remix in 2009.

My style of music speaks life, and empowerment to all. My flow and sound is raw, yet easy on the ear. My unique flow has often earn me caparisons with the likes of Jay Z and Kanye West.

MUSIC IS MY VOICE AND I'VE GOT A LOT TO SAY...
