Bio
Country singer-songwriter, Jarrod Turner is a small town guy. The small fish in the giant pond. The weird, kid in the high top shoes, sittin' in the back of the class. Jarrod was born in a bedroom community in north central Missouri. He grew up in Sturgeon, MO and was your typical kid who loved baseball, fishing and music.
Jarrod is an accomplished musician and plays 8 different instruments, writes, composes and produces music also. He wrote his first song at 12, self recorded his own demo at 15 and sold over 50 copies at a school where the entire student body population was less than 150. When Jarrod was a senior in highschool he wrote 9 out of 11 tracks on his first professionally recorded release, "Travelin" which was distributed by his then current band, "For The Irony".
Jarrod went on to pursue his solo act in country while FTI disolved after almost 10 years together.
In 2010, Jarrod released another self-produced album The Sound Of Life.
after 5 years off from recording Jarrod found himself heading out on a regional tour in 2014 and followed that up with a 15 song full length release titled "The Uncivil War" #15for15
After a nearly 3 years of regional touring and another album release. Jarrod recorded 2017's "The Chase" which saw the first single, "Forever 17" be picked up by fm radio stations in MO, KS & FL in full rotation and sold out concerts with Chase Rice, Aaron Lewis and Jon Langston.
Jarrod has also shared the stage with and opened for many other red dirt and mainstream artists including: Pat Green, Josh Abbott, Cody Jinks, William Clark Green, Carter Winter, Lewis Watson and more.
Jarrod is currently working on his new album and touring regionally with plans to expand touring in 2019 to include east coast and west coast tours.
