James Michael

I was born in Reading Pennsylvania(USA), my father was an electrician and my mother is a drug and alcohol consular. I used to love listening to my mom’s Elvis Presley albums. This was probably how I first starting getting involved with music. I have ever since been fascinated watching singers who not only are great singer, but are also great entertainers and really capture a crowd’s attention.

I grew up in a house with my brother next to a farm, and always enjoyed outdoor activities such as hunting and fishing. My father was the person who got me involved in these activities. My mother and father both enjoyed country music and listen to artist such as George Jones, Tammy Wynette, Dolly Parton, and Kenny Rogers, etc... I recall them bringing me to a party where there was a country band playing and I was so interested in the band and thought this is exactly what I want to do when I grow up.

In High School I never felt comfortable enough to get up in front of people and sing. After High school I joined the US Army and was stationed in Mannheim Germany. I married a German Girl and we had two children together. I got out of the Army and moved back to Pennsylvania with my wife and kids. One year my wife said she wanted to bring the boys back to Germany to visit her family. She then called me on the telephone and told me she was not ever going to return to the US and I would not see my kids again.

This was the hardest thing I have ever been through in my life, the divorce was no problem, but not seeing my kids was heart breaking to me. I was determined to be reunited with my kids and in 2004, I found a job and was able to live close to them again. When I got to Germany, I did not know anyone and decided to work on my passion of singing and performing. I found a rock band and really enjoy it, the best part was watching the peoples faces in the crowd really enjoying themselves. I knew that I had the potential to be a professional singer, but needed more work.

I played in various band project and for one reason or another it never seem to last. Then in 2010 I decided to work on my own music and create my own CD. I found a production person to help me. The music is pop singer songwriter and it is by far the best work I have done so far.
