James Leahy

I'm James (if you haven't guessed already). I didn't necessarily grow up with a musical background. My mum listens to music and my dad sounds like a dying elephant when he sings. When I was in little(er) I took piano lessons and Guitar lessons. They didn't end well. I self-teach myself a lot of the instruments I play. I do get lesson for my voice. Each lesson I feel like my voice is improving. I started writing music when first got my piano and ukulele. Back then it was bashing the keys and trying to make it sound less shittier then it already was. Not I have a clear idea of what I want my music to sound like. I like to tackle some big issues in my music. But sometimes I write stupid and wacky lyrics and sometimes I write about random things little this paranoid feeling I get when I see people staring at me O.o
So yeah. Hopefully you'll think I'm a cool guy (you probably won't) and book me for some sort of gig. (you probably won't)
