Bio
James Iris is a young American folk singer/songwriter. The story of James Iris was born from a relationships end and his personal experience in the capital of Slovenia, Ljubljana. While living in Europe, James started collaborating with English musician Lloyd Betsworth, and the two musicians began to arrange songs together. After defining their sound, they added violinist Jelena drale to complete the lineup.
The music of James Iris is honest, melodic, and straight from the heart. The debut album, Anchor Broken Free, is a collection of delicate, powerful, and earnest songs inspired by the ups and downs of relationship making and breaking.
Anchor Broken Free will be available via Bandcamp on June 11, 2013.
