Jah mon SouL

Formed in june of 2011 Ventura, Ca.
Kimo Moya and Steve Schoepp former bandmates from the downtown Santa Barbara Night Club house band 'The Savoy Players', collaborated to perform original music created by Moya. After getting alot of feedback from fans at local bars in Santa Barbara, the two decided to form a band together.
Over a long hard search, Kimo had found a craigslist ad for a bass payer looking for a reggae band. It turned out that the ad was from Eric Garcia a drummer looking to start a band.
After trying out a few drummers that just didnt fit, kimo called eric to see if he was interested in a side project and he was.
Eric the former drummer for the reggae band 'Litmore' had alot of connections in the music scene and brought along guitarist steve hinojosa.
The first time the three played together they got along right away with a new bass player, Devin Kassbaum delights the crowd with his smooth bass riffs.
Hence the beginning of 'Jah mon SouL'.
After the second week of practicing, the band was in the studio recording the first demo cd.
