"Winner of the 2010 Florida Grammy Showcase"
- The Recording Academy
"Awareness is the name of the game for Jahfé, one of the hottest roots/reggae groups to come out of Miami in years. Exuding an intense energy, the music created by this group grips listeners with its references to the prejudices that take place every day: hunger, poverty, disease and the tensions between nations and their peoples that can cause turmoil."
-The Miami Herald
"Jahfe's infectious vibe flows from the stage, onto the dance floor and into the crowds whipped up in a frenzy of clapping, shouting and arm waving. The 11-piece band's reggae rhythms, Haitian pride and messages of universal unity make their concerts look like old-time tent revival meetings."
-Sun-Sentinel
"Jahfe is the best reggae band in South Florida, without a doubt. The music is arranged and presented so perfectly that they inspire their audiences to dance. The connection they have with their audience is not superficial or trendy, they send thought provoking messages along with their catchy reggae style.

"Miami's Jahfe serve up reggae the classic way: rootsy and majestic"

"Best Band in Miami, 2008"
-Tobacco Road Annual Battle of the Bands '08.
"Up came culture roots dub orchestra Jahfe, complete with percussion and horn section. Led by their authoritative front-woman Esther Fortune, this band of highly skilled musicians cranked out some real-deal roots reggae, much to the delight of a packed-in crowd. The people, transformed by the trippy dub sounds and funky bass lines, morphed into a giant mass of Rasta energy, bouncing and swaying and breathing-in the sweet smoke that literally lingered in the air. "
-Miami/Broward New Times CrossFade Section.
"These guys are the real deal and they play roots reggae with a proficiency and passion I haven't heard since a Wailers show at Revolution ... Jahfé hits Mach 2 within the opening measure of their music, with a powerful presence from Esther Fortune, lead vocalist for the 10-piece band."
-The Miami Herald Nightlife Section
"From the moment all 11-band members squeezed onto the tiny stage at Jazid on South Beach to the moment they finished, the energy never faltered. Defined in the audience's faces and non-stop dancing, a Jahfe performance is not a show, it's an experience...heavily influenced by Bob Marley, it is their fusion of rock, funk and R&B that classifies their unique and dynamic sound."

Bio
Based out of Miami FL, Jahfe is the winner of the 2010 Florida Grammy Showcase. Voted 'Beast Band in MIami' for in 2008 and 2009, Jahfe plays a heavy yet smooth fusion of Reggae, Rock, and HipHop. Representing the power of the youth and the wisdom of roots culture, the music of Jahfe not only reflects Miami's diverse music scene but also the true ability of conscious music to connect to people of all backgrounds and all ages. The band members represent a diverse international background - Haiti to Spain, Israel to Cuba, Czech Republic to Morocco, and all over the US.
Jahfe takes every chance they can to speak out against the injustices that plague the world today.
