"Gotee Records' Morgan Harper Nichols Releases Debut Album"

Gotee Records' latest artist, singer/songwriter Morgan Harper Nichols, is releasing her self-titled debut album this week. The Atlanta-based storyteller is no stranger to the label, as she has co-written and been featured on numerous songs with sister, Jamie Grace. Produced by Paul Mabury (Lauren Daigle, All Sons & Daughters), the album features Mac Powell of Third Day on the song "I Can't Save Myself" and All Sons & Daughters on the closing track "A Prayer for Grace." The album is available at all digital outlets while the iTunes version features 2 bonus tracks. Physical copies are available by clicking here or at Morgan's shows.

"Just when you think Morgan's songwriting gift overshadows her gifting as a singer and musician, she spins your head," says Gotee Records' founder TobyMac. "She is THE triple threat! A deep well of soul stirring lyrics as well as vocal and musical chops that will stop you in your tracks."

Morgan will be on tour this summer with Jamie Grace on the "Fighters + Storytellers Tour" starting in June and concluding in August. She'll also be performing at NY CityServe's "Stories of Hope" with Luis Palau, which is one of the lead up events to Palau's NYCityFest this summer.

Fans were given the ability to listen to the album three weeks early by streaming the entire album at TheOverflow, the worlds first and only unlimited, on-demand Christian and Gospel music streaming servicing app. She also provided her own "Storyteller" playlist. TheOverflow can be downloaded for free from major app stores or by clicking here.

Morgan's debut music video for "Storyteller" along with a free digital assets bundle are available at http://www.Storyteller-Sunday.com. The single has been part of an initiative that Nichols launched last year called StoryTellerSunday on Instagram, which was created to give a place for people to share their stories of hope every Sunday. - New Release Today

"Morgan Harper Nichols: Self-titled debut review"

As the older sibling to one of Gotee Records’ most recognizable new artists (Jamie Grace), Morgan Harper Nichols will need time to carve out her own platform. But given the talent that runs in the family, the silky-smooth pop artist will undoubtedly find her own footing and fan-base soon enough.

It’s not as if Morgan Harper Nichols wants to avoid the connection. After all, the strongest song on her self-titled debut, “Storyteller,” features an appearance from Grace. Click here to watch the official music video of "Storyteller" featuring Jamie Grace. Other guests also appear, including Mac Powell (“I Can’t Save Myself”) and All Sons & Daughters (“A Prayer for Grace”). But songs like “Grateful” show that Harper Nichols can stand tall on her own.
