I Tamed A Lion

I Tamed A Lion started out as a 2 piece acoustic band named The Basement's Attic, back in 2005, started by Vin Santiago and a high school friend playing drums. In 2006 Vincent DePierro was added to the line up on guitar. From there a string of shows were played all over long island. After the original drummer left the band in 2007, new drummer and close friend Sal Maggadino was added, as was a bass player. Things went electric, no longer an acoustic band, and playing songs in a different style than before the band thought it would be best to change the name, to something new, taking on the name I Tamed A Lion. And after a extended period without a bass player in 2009, Dan Gordon was added to the line up on bass. Rounding out this group of best friends and musical partners. With an EP on its way and rave reviews from those whom have heard some of these songs, things are looking up for I Tamed A Lion.
