Artist, singer and composer from Rosario (Argentina), being only 29 years old, Ismael Torres has alreadyrecorded 3 albums, 2 EPs and 1 DVD. He started his
professional career when he was 15, playing his guitar and singing along with well-known artists of the so called "Trova Rosarina" or Pop Acoustic.At the age of 18, he released his first solo album "Ciudad Manantial".Today, after more than 12 years of career, he has toured
many cities notonly in his country but all over the world. He has shared stage with acknowledged artists such as León Gieco, Luis Alberto Spinetta, Rubén Rada, Javier Malosetti, Jaime Roos and Lito Nebbia, among others. In 2008 he started his career in production and worked for 2 years at Mondomix Studios (Buenos Aires) together withJuan Blas Caballero, Cachorro López and Sebastián Schon (Mexico), Brazilian Girls (USA), Agustín Almeyda (Argentina) and others. As a result of this exchange with great producers and from a tour through Cuba and Argentina, comes out his new album called " En Movimiento" released in April 2013. By the year 2014, togetherwith his musicians he had started an extended 3-month world tour which included Cuba (where they recorded a live album), Mexico, USA and Canada.In 2015 Ismael's third album "Vivo en Cuba"was released all over the world by the Mexican label Casete.Great artists of the Cuban scene such as Augusto Blanca, Leonardo García Rodríguez, Roly Berrío and DúoCofradía took part in this album.“Vivo en Cuba” led Ismael travel to Mexico one more time to make a tour of 18 concerts in more than 12 cities.
Along with a very personal and unique warm style that characterizes him in his shows, influences from such artists as Luis A. Spinetta, Fito Paez, Charly García, Sting, John Mayer and Djavan among others might be perceived.
