Great Gustav! Incomplete Neighbor, an indie rock band from San Diego has put together a batch of demos bound for their debut album coming late this Fall or possibly in the Spring. Incomplete Neighbor is also designing artwork for a press packet, album, t-shirts, stickers, and website with small tours of the West coast and Southwest currently being planned for Spring of 2009. Glorious New Weather, one of the new demo tracks on slate for the release, eerily portends hurricane season, unfortunately drilling down strongly off the US Gulf Coast - although we imagine their song has more to do with the lyricist’s world coming loose at the seams and the need for a major ’stratospheric’ event of some sort to come wash away all his troubles. We have been known to be very wrong though, sometimes abysmally. A distorted guitar riff pulls us in over the crisp steady drums in this demo song, into which perfectly placed drifting guitar and heartfelt vocals come together in an infectious mix that will you you putting the song on repeat for many weeks to come. Its a thing of beauty, and until release you’ll be forced to wait, listen, lurk and possibly pester over and over at their social site. - Insomniac Radio
Bouncing from studio to stage, stage to studio, San Diego’s Incomplete Neighbor are living the rock n’ roll dream. I’ve just come into possession of some demo tracks and these guys have my attention. The four songs that I’ve heard range from skull vibrating rock to ambient shimmering chill, all done with the vocal flavorings of Bono. They’ll be playing a few local shows in the near future, one of which I will be in attendance for. September 13th at the Ken Club. Should be fun. Future fodder for a Field Report? Quite possibly. - The Ripple Effect

Bio
Incomplete Neighbor formed in the early months of 2008. Brandon and Tyson had been working on forming a band since they met in Williams, Arizona. In 2004 Brandon moved out to San Diego with his family, and Tyson followed soon after. The two met George and Clint while the former was recording tracks for a friend at Brandon's recording studio.
The debut album, Suspended Electric Coma, was released in May 2009. The band recorded at Brandon's studio, and he earns creidt for engineering, while the whole band takes credit for writing and producing the album. Each member also contributed several original paintings for the over 10 pieces of art that are included in the album artwork.
Aside from writing and recording their debut album, Inomcplete Neighbor has made a name for itself among local artists and concert goers through their pop-psychadelic tendencies, and high energy performances. The SD Reader covered the band in a feature article for their mid-June issue, while Local 94.9 DJ, Tim Pyles, has distinguished Incomplete Neighbor with the honor of "Local Recommended Album" for July/August. And both 91X, and 94.9 have included the songs "small," "half," and "pillownoise" in their regular rotation.
The band has enjoyed positive reception out of town as well, and there song, "zero hour" is a featured track in the Southern California surf/art showcase film, Below Neptune.
