Born in Los Angeles, Imiuswi is a writer, producer, electronic composer and stage performer actively engaged in the production of high caliber Hip Hop. Gaining recognition on the L.A. underground as an artfully outspoken advocate for progressive change, Imiuswi is in a singular league of her own design. As a rap artist, Imiuswi rips ‘em a new one, void of profanity, her rhymes are laced with eloquent verse of literary value and gab gifted real talk. A graduate of the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, California, Imiuswi is a skilled and trained music producer and recording artist. Full of power and grace, an immense energy emanates from Imiuswi, felt in her music and live performance.

A native of Massachusetts, Dana is a bonafide audiofile, serving as bassist, music director, arranger and producer with Imiuswi, the artist and band. As a musician of many influences, Dana possesses a golden ear for song development that expands genre. Guiding Imiuswi’s massive sound and dense arrangements with a deliberate, driving style, Dana fluidly blends rock, reggae, afro-beat, r&b/soul, roots and exotic world music into an exciting, modern Hip Hop alchemy.
