illadope began his DJ career in the early 2000's at the age of 15 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Through the internet, illadope was immersed in the Dj culture from sites such as Undergroundhiphop.com, SOHH.com, & bombingscience.com. Not having too many personal inspirations, he looked towards the likes of Shy FX, Mark Farina, Grandmaster Roc Raida, & the rest of the X-Ecutioners as something to have reference to. Being in Colorado Springs & having a limited supply of records to buy, illadope has always "improvised" the way he mixes things together. People say he has an unique sound when he plays. With advancements such as Serato & midi controllers, illadope has been able to take his mixing abilities to another level keeping his original style intact. illadope appreciates good music & shares what he likes with whoever is willing to listen.
