Arising from the ashes of the bands Laura's Problem, Sustress and Whir, this trio from Curitiba formed by sisters Qué (drums) and Rety (guitar, vocals) and Rafael (guitar) is responsible for more than a pearl genial launched nationwide in the latter decade: "Collapses" this EP recorded between May and June 2010 in the band's own home studio. I Kill Kane began in 2008 (Curitiba, PR - Brazil). It was formed by sisters Qué (drums) and Rety (vocals, guitar) and his best friend Rafael (guitar). They came from other bands such as Whir, Sustress and played together at Laura's Problem.
With these previous bands, shared the stage at shows with icons like Superchunk, And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead, Bambix and important brazilian bands as Pin Ups, Garotos Podres, Ira! and many others. They recorded several independent albums and participated in national indie compilations. With Laura's Problem released an 7" EP by the belgian punk label Filth-Ear.... - LO-FI LOVE

References: Band of Curitiba in Brazil. Shoegaze, indie rock, alternative. I met this band when they sent us some information. I went on myspace and I was impressed with the sound. I wrote to them asking for stuff and here's the post. A single signaling as we should be open to listen to this band. Formed by sisters Qué (drums) and Rety (vocals, guitar), plus the guitar of Rafael, the band tries influences from all sides which give an interesting flavor to his tunes.
