Bio
On June 5th, 1987, born to two loving Jamaican Natives, was a boy who more often than not felt like every answer to his questions was "no." His parents understood, however the biblical principal of training up a child "in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it", so they introduced him to two things they knew he would always hold on to: Music and a relationship with God. The marriage of these two powerful forces in Andre's life formed him into the man we now see. Having sung behind incredible artists like: David Bratton (writer of "Every Praise"), Latice Crawford of Sunday's Best, David Wright (son of the Late Timothy Wright), and many others, each with their own presentation and brand of Gospel/Inspirational music, has helped cultivate Andre's increasingly eclectic taste in music. Now given an opportunity and platform to step out on his own, Andre is passionate about paying homage to all of his favorite genres while adding his own spin on what he hears; A mixture he's worked since 2009 to perfect.
Andre speaks everywhere he goes about the importance of learning what makes you different and embracing it instead of making the mistake of trying to please others all the time. That mistake is what he says: caused him to lose his own identity, and led to a failed suicide attempt on June 3rd of 2014. In this "failure" he found success, gaining a newfound appreciation of life, purpose and destiny and is more determined than ever to use his gifts, namely his music, to inspire others to LIVE.
Now as Andre gears up for his 3rd Studio release, he says his sound has been: "marinated with victory, and seasoned with freedom!" Prepare your heart to be healed, your spirit to be lifted, and your mind to be equipped to fight for your own victory and freedom, while singing anthems that he has penned that seek to pierce through the air and destroy the negativity in your life!
