Winter 2006 - Grade 9 at Niagara District Secondary School (NDSS) three slacker teenagers from Niagara on the Lake (NOTL) Ontario - Matt Meagher, Aidan Cain and Colin Blakeman met in "Hutch's" music class. Subsequently, they began working on their first official band - Beat Life Revival. The three good-time slackers completed high school in 2010 with eight consecutive semesters of music training and as part in the last ever graduating class of NDSS . Beat Life Revival played the NOTL Scene headlining Peace In The Park and later opening for The Johnstones and Street Pharmacy in St. Catharines. Musical influences range from Sublime, Bob Marley. Misfits and Rancid to Janes Addiction, The Band, Van Morrison, Jimi Hendrix and Bob Dylan.
Spring 2010 - Shaun O'Melia, previously from As Above So Below joined the band as lead guitarist and Honour Among Thieves was born.
Winter 2011- The Thieves sign a 3 album / 5 year record deal with Ragin Cajun Records to be published by Music Over Mayhem (MOM) Publishing. The boys quickly wrote and recorded 10 new songs - 6 of which are featured on Honour Among Thieves debut EP/DVD scheduled for release May 2011.
Feb. 20, 2011 - The band performs their first ever live show at L3 in St. Catharines to a packed house opening for Dine Alone Records artists - Dinosaur Bones and Parlovr. The show is video recorded by Eye Q Media and made into a DVD introducing the world to Honour Among Thieves. Footage includes the entire first show and more than an hour of bonus material (photos, studio footage and various interviews).
