Montreal-based Hologramme’s sound is contemporary “electro-indie”, but created using the power of the retro Moog synthesizer. It’s neither of this time, nor even a previous one. The band is a welcome addition to the already prominent electropop scene in Montreal. - Georgie Magazine

Bio
Slightly detuned analog synthesizers and a search for electrifying rhythms and timbres through eras and styles. These are the elements that define the sound of Montreal act Hologramme. Sometimes playful, sometimes profound, the group's compositions show a meeting between the electronic scene and Montreal's indie scene.
In 2014, after composing for more than two years for what was to be basically a solo project, keyboardist and composer Clement Leduc decided to spread the concept to another level and make a complete group. This is how the other members were added: Dominic Lalonde (guitar & keyboards), Laurent Saint-Pierre (drums & samples) and Rémi Chenette (bass & keyboards). The contribution of musicians in the project is crucial because that's how is carved the sound of the band and this is what makes the difference on the stage.
Hologramme released it's first album in may 2015 and received tons of positive reviews. It received a mention for one of the 30 best albums of the year according to Radio-Canada and a nomination for best electronic album of the year by GAMIQ. The band toured all summer promoting the album and is now preparing it's 2016 tour and many collaborations.
