Bio
Holly Pereira has been playing music for 16 years. After years of gobbling up femme-leaders such as Joni Mitchell, Carly Simon and Carole King, she decided to write her own songs. She is heavily influenced by sweet-as jazz chords and melody and lyrics are paramount in her music. Her voice is sweet and full of emotion, which contrasts nicely with not-so-nice lyrics which display an unusual sense of humour. She has been playing gigs in hometown of Dublin for three years, and also London and Singapore. She is also a painter, and tries to incorporate elements of her performance/visual arts practice into recording and live sets.
