Bio
Herman Astro's frontman, Zachary Pluer, is the nephew of long-time Paul Cebar collaborator, Robin Pluer and has clearly inherited the familial pipes. Zachary and Cody Calderon (drums) are step-brothers that grew up in a hispanic home and came up with the name at a young age. They held the name until they were a part of something they knew was extraordinary. The blues/soul four-piece, Herman Astro, has shared the stage with Fitz & The Tantrums, Kings Go Forth, Orgone, and The Constellations. The band's single, "Sambawete" was recently voted Catchiest Song of the Year at Radio Milwaukee's Music Awards.
