Bio
I started writing music during the darkest time of my life so far. Somehow, it was like waking up and finding myself. The music seemed to hang in the air around me. I enjoy all sorts of music, from jazz to classical to gospel to contemporary Christian. Nichole Nordeman's and Sara Groves' music really speak to me, and I had a chance to be critiqued by Ginny Owens. I'm most inspired by Christian songwriters who shed a new light on the truths we've heard again and again.
Recently, I was a finalist in the 9th Annual Great American Song Contest for two of my songs: "Yours and Yours Alone" and "Take Me Back."
