Heaven Lies Here is a radio rock / pop band from Los Angeles, California
HLH is a band that has been three years in the making. The idea began on January 11th, 2012, as a collaboration between Corey Whitehead and producer/drummer Bruno Agra (We Are Harlot) and Herman Rarebell (Scorpions). Agra/Rarebell/Whitehead wrote 5 songs as a team, and then Agra/Whitehead wrote 8 more songs, and Whitehead continued writing with Scott Fritz (The Morning Stares).
The band began to take shape when Whitehead was introduced to Gary Holland by a mutual friend in front of The
Whisky-a-GoGo in Hollywood in August 2012. The duo then embarked on a search that took them two years to find
Donaldson, Puma, and Bertoni.
RIAA platinum producers Rafa Sardina and Augustus Cryns, and recording engineer Ron Keck have captured this dynamic quintet on record, and the world will soon know Heaven Lies Here, SoCal Radio Rock, with musical bloodlines that include the legendary "The Four Freshmen".
