Bio
My name is Mikey Smith I'm a 22 year old singer/songwriter from Newcastle who has just moved to Port Hedland, Western Australia. I perform under the alias Hawk Brooklyn mainly due to the fact my name is boring haha. I play a mix of Indie, Pop, Rock and Country. In the past i have played in a fair few bands but only one that i took seriously. Which was titled "The Great Escape" we played with bands like The Amity Affliction, Mest, Bleached Academy and all sorts of acts up and down the east coast. Although since starting my solo project i have also performed with some big names such as Wendy Matthews, Phil Jamieson, Ball Park Music, Bluejuice, Snowdroppers, Rockets and The Seabellies just to name a few.
I plan on releasing a solo album as soon as i can save up some cash which will hopefully have 10 tracks filled with guitars, resonators and harmonicas. But who knows what the future holds.
