"Harrison Fine is a melodic masterpiece" - Fan
That pretty much sums up his approach to music. To describe Harrison's sound, think simple & fluid melodies, inventive hooks, evocative lyrics with a burst of energy. His experience as a producer pushes him to individualize each song through a pallet of changes & stops, arrangements and instrumentation. His goal to indulge each show with emotion, audience participation, vocal & guitar technique leads him to create a live show that he can call his own.
Heavily influenced by Tom Waits, Harrison is utterly determined to think outside the box in almost every avenue he can imagine. He is currently recording a CD with a release expected in the Spring of 2012. With his multi-year experience working in recording studios around Toronto and currently working at his very own, the flavours attached to his debut EP are diverse spanning from Jazz to Blues, Rock to Pop, etc.
However! If there's one avenue Harrison insists he follow, it is his desire to let music come first. "What you see is what you get"!
With his latest endeavour: Indie Week 2011, Harrison Fine has been hitting the Toronto music scene hard with a strong lineup of festivals such as "Fringe", "Then & Now", "Fireside Culture Week" and "the International POP Overthrow". Throughout his career, Harrison has played the late & great "Bread & Circus" & "Big Bop", "The Supermarket", "The Rivoli" twice, "Dundas Square", "The Great Hall" and many others.
