"Hannah's set for stardom"

"Ipswich singer-songwriter Hannah Scott continues to make great progress in her efforts to break through nationally. She recently supported Cara Dillon at the Norwich Arts Centre and following her set sold plenty of CDs to people eager to take her music home with them.
Hannah's passion for music shines through on everything she does whether it's in the studio or on stage. Her collaboration with John Carden has given her even more confidence and I very much hope that they reap the benefit in the near future. I firmly believe this young lady has got what it takes to be a star." - The Evening Star (Archant)

Bio

Hannah and the boy disagree on just about everything: think thirty-year marriage, separate beds. Although you wouldn’t ever catch them swapping music, one thing they do agree on is that their differences are a vital asset to their song-writing – defining an original, yet strangely familiar sound.

Hannah’s songs and distinctive voice were first showcased on her 2007 album, Till Angels Fall, which gained her national airplay and a solid fan base. A year on, and 200 solo gigs later, a chance meeting brought Hannah and the boy (formerly known as John) together.

2009 was a busy year; they released their debut EP, Falling into spring, went on tour to Italy and performed at the Edinburgh Fringe festival. Armed with new material, early 2010 has seen a return to the studio and the new demos will form the basis of an EP due out later in the year.
