" my life has been a wonderful chaotic scramble of suitcases and packing crates, destinations and detours. I find myself humming along as much to the birth of a song as to the wheels of a car on a bitumen road - and that's just the way I like it ! "
Born of Welsh heritage and smitten with Romany wanderlust, Haelwen-Sian is a singer/songwriter who thrives on simplicity. Her 'bare bones' approach to her music is a true reflection of the 'Minstrel within', and her unique blend of acoustic "Folktry" invites a quiet curiosity and welcome alternative to the chaos that surrounds.
Her influences span the likes of Dylan, Baez and Lightfoot, Don McLean, Denver and The Seekers, but to name a few.
Haelwen-Sian has secured a number of live performance opportunities over the years, from pubs, clubs and private gigs, to festivals and charity events.
