Gulf of Brass is a name that created this imagery and strives to be it's sonic mirror image. Reverb drenched guitars with bouncing bass lines and beach beats colour all material the three piece trio has released to date. Their collective sound steals from past groups such as Dick Dale and the ventures but leaves the listener with an altogether brand new experience.
Above all the Gulf strive to write and play songs that are fun. Their Debut Ep titled "Hear Ye Here Ye!" available only through bandcamp.com illustrates this example. Gulf of Brass are currently gigging southern Manitoba and writing material in anticipation of a debut album set to be released in early 2014.
