Guilty Pleasure

Guilty Pleasure is an alternative rock band burning up the Burlington music scene and quickly expanding their fanbase across Ontario and the UK. With the help of a large twitter following from England as well as a devoted fanbase in the GTA, Guilty Pleasure have had a breakout year in 2015 following the release of their debut self titled EP as well as two singles; Blowing Over and Ask Me Anything. They were named runners up of the YMCA high school battle of the bands in May of 2015 but did not let that discourage them in any way as they attracted the likes of some notable names throughout the process including Y108 host Brian West, and Silverstien drummer Paul Kohler. Earlier this year the band was contacted by Hamilton record label Sonic Unyon and are planning on meeting with label executives. Drawing inspiration from California surf rock and British indie, they have fuzed the genres and created they're own sound dominated by vocalist Cameron Hart's powerful voice. An article in the Burlington Post defined their sound as "the catchiest pop songs you would hear on the radio with loud guitars and crashing drums." Guilty Pleasure are devoted to putting on ambient and exciting live shows as they continue to play promoting their recent releases.
