Bio
Gravity Hill was formed in 2010 by singer Lauren Dair Owens. The band has grown through many changes, and in 2014, drummer Taylor Reyes and lead guitar Shae Padilla joined to form the current band.
Lauren came to Los Angeles from Anchorage, Alaska. She grew up listening to and has an appreciation for classic rock music. At the age of 10, Lauren started writing music and she put out her first EP in August 2011 at the age of thirteen. Her EP “No Apologies” has been talked about as a sample of music that would be written by someone twice her age in terms of lyrics. Lauren has been compared to a young Joss Stone and continues to perform throughout Southern California, Alaska and Texas. Lauren was recently cast to play the recurring young Zooey Deschanel on the hit Fox show “New Girl.”
