GrandmasterPhraze hails from the West Coast city of Los Angeles. His mission is to bring back the skill and pure talent of the art of music. He wants to give meaning and inspiration to the industry. He began rapping in 1983 and credits his early influences to RUN DMC, Eric B and Rakim, LL Cool J, and Kool Moe D.
