SINGER-WRITER-PRODUCER “PRAY” TAKING TRUTH TO THE WORLD
CALIFORNIA – Singer-songwriter and producer PRAY, is a distinguishably fresh solo
artist with a musical style devoted to making listeners fell good about the things of Christ and life which he calls, goody music. PRAY, states that with his style of writing he knows that many lives will be touched in a way like never before. Putting God’s purpose first, he understands that a change is about to come, not only in the church, but in the music business and to all the world as he preaches God’s word through his music.
PRAY will celebrate the release of his debut single “Friend” from the up and coming album “It’s The Anointing” at his upcoming CD Single release party.
The debut single that was written and produced by PRAY and VonGantt Productions,
is truly an expression of agape love. The single “Friend” with it’s edgy beat and Lyrical content allows you to nod your head and at the same time receive a message that will draw you closer to God. PRAY has overcome many trials during his walk with Christ, but he stands firm that there is no better friend than God. PRAY’s single “Friend” takes you on a journey through reflective lyrics, searching for truth, goodness and confidence in having a relationship with God. PRAY’s acoustic sound has been labeled as a sound of it’s own with the lyrics truly touching home for anyone that listens. PRAY will debut in a live performance at the release party and also a viewing of the video for the single “Friend”. Gospel R&B singer, rapper, song writer, producer and business man Pray is not only an artist but also CEO of indie record label Goody Music Entertainment Group, he is a native of Toledo, Ohio by way of Milan Tennessee now residing in Cali. PRAY grew up loving music and entertaining those around him. At the young age of 14 Pray formed a group with is brother and couple of friends which he was key song writer. Years later Pray joined the military and while serving in Guam, Pray and some friends formed a group by the name of SYZ that went on to become local celebrities, performing in Guam and the surrounding countries with audience size of 11,000 plus. After turning down a Label Deal with MCA Records Japan, Pray headed back to the states where he received Christ into his life and started his solo career as a new Gospel artist with a story to tell. His style of music is new to the Gospel seen, with a R&B..Hip hop smooth Gospel Sound that he calls GOoDy music (Music that make you feel good in the things of Christ and Life.) Pray takes you on a journey though life from the streets to the pulpit with a wide range of testimonies. PRAY relates to listeners from every walk of life, no matter age, gender or race he has something that will touch your heart and give you hope.
