Bio

Too many bands hit the scene aching to emulate other groups. Some bands form and immediately want to be just like Paramore or Fall Out Boy. While Hayley can wail like a madwoman and Mr. Wentz holds his own on the bass, Good Morning Milo is made of musicians who wouldn’t change a thing about their band.

Good Morning Milo consists of an ex-choir nerd, a piano-playing former missionary, a wannabe metal rocker, a rhythm guitar songstress, a marching band drummer boy, and a bass player with an affinity for prescription sunglasses.

Beginning with small house shows for friends and family, this pop-rock group from San Diego has found a fan base that keeps coming back for more.

Good Morning Milo has appeared all over San Diego, with performances at The San Diego Hall of Champions, Queen Bees, The Epicenter, Hot Topic, and multiple shows at both Channel Twelve25 and Soma San Diego. Good Morning Milo was recently honored to perform with Mae, Deas Veil, and Locksley on the local leg of Mae’s (a)fternoon Tour and is currently in talks to arrange San Diego shows with Hazel And Vine and Brightwood.

Balancing lavish lifestyles of rocknroll, fame, and minimum wage day jobs can be difficult, but these jetsetters do it in style by focusing on the things that really matter. Good Morning Milo band members eat balanced meals of Ramen and 1 dollar cheeseburgers and stay in shape by transporting all of their own equipment.

Such dedication has paid off. Good Morning Milo’s first full-length album, Through the Chaos and Clatter, was released October 10th of 2009 and includes the singles “Mr. Robot Man” and “Sunshine.” The new album is all about providing quality music and hopeful messages for a generation living in troubled times.

What’s that you ask, who is Milo and why does he have such good mornings? You’ll have to ask one of the band members…and the best place to do that is at a show.
