I gotta tell ya “Good Luck Varsity” has it going on, this pop rock band brings together a unique set of talent with amazing vocals. The members of the Detroit-based touring machine known as Good Luck Varsity are carving their names in the pavement of American interstates. A month-long run down the US West Coast in the summer of 2009 wet their appetite for the road, and in 2011 the band made the transition to full-time touring. Since that time, Good Luck Varsity has become a force in the American Midwest, and has also developed strong pockets of grassroots followings on the East Coast, West Coast and in the Southeast.
The three independently-funded EP's that the band has currently released over the last 2 years showcase Good Luck Varsity's command of 3-part harmonies and infectious melodies, while also preserving the band's rock and punk roots. Hellbent on accurately reproducing the sound created in the studio, the band focuses intently on the quality and integrity of their live show - a trait which is becoming more and more rare in modern music.
With their new single "Clear Eyes, Full Hearts, Can't Lose" garnering front-page attention from Alternative Press, and their debut full-length album slated to release in Spring of 2013 Good Luck Varsity is poised to make their mark on the independent music scene.
